The event will take place at the Farnborough International Exhibition and Conference Centre on 30 June and 1 July 2021.

As the power driving future net zero transportation, National Grid is proud to be a commercial partner at the ITT Hub. This event will showcase our innovation expertise and our critical role in the decarbonisation of UK for domestic and commercial transport in the air, land and sea. At the event we will be teaming up with partners such as the British Ports Association, Maritime UK, Stagecoach Bus, and Rolls Royce and Harley Davidson. Come along to our stands to see how we are innovating energy as we prepare for our net zero future and see first hand an electric bus, an electric aeroplane (set to break the propeller speed record), electric boat, electric motorcycle and a hydrogen car.

Our Activities and Role

We'll be showcasing our thought-leadership in the decarbonisation space in all areas of the conference over the 2 days:

  • Our internal stand will showcase ET & GT innovation including Deeside and Transportation and Hydrogen transition pathways
    • Our external stand will showcase different modes of transport on air, sea and land to demonstrate that no matter the mode of transport, we are the infrastructure that will be used to achieve a net zero future and we embrace collaboration to deliver transport decarbonation strategy.
    • Our subject matter experts will be participating in the conference program over the two days.
    • We will also be running a Social Media Competition - Post a photo of one of the modes of transport on the National Grid external stand at the 2021 ITT Hub event, and share to Twitter, LinkedIn or Instagram. The post must include the hashtag #PoweringFutureTransport and tag National Grid’s account for a chance to win one of the prizes. Please see terms and conditions.
