From Wednesday to Friday this week (6-8 April) members of our ecology team will be out and about in Garth and Cilfor carrying out some survey work. Colleagues from Atmos, the environmental consultants who are working with National Grid and Hochtief on the VIP project in Snowdonia will be carrying out ecology walkover surveys to extend our understanding of the flora and fauna in the area.
The work should take no more than a couple of days and is the first of many surveys that we’ll be carrying out during the coming months. This includes further more specific ecology surveys looking at individual species, putting up reptile fencing to ensure we keep reptiles away from the site before we start work, along with some archaeological investigations and ground investigations, so please don’t be surprised if you see our teams in hi vis jackets out and about in the area.
We will let you know directly and via our website if we need to undertake any work that could cause any disruption locally.
If you have any questions about our work, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
