Our first stage of the public consultation took place between 1 June 2023 to 27 July 2023. Thank you to everyone who came to our in-person events and webinars and for providing your feedback.

We asked for your local knowledge on the most appropriate location within the swathe to route the pylons and associated infrastructure. Feedback from this stage of consultation, along with further environmental and technical surveys and assessments, will be used to develop more detailed proposals that will be shared at our next public consultation in Autumn 2024.

North Humber to High Marnham is a Nationally Significant Infrastructure Project which means an application for a Development Consent Order will need to be prepared and submitted to the Planning Inspectorate. It is the Secretary of State who will be responsible for making the final decision on the application.
