As a critical enabler of future net zero transportation, National Grid is proud to have been a commercial partner at the Innovation and Technology in Transport (ITT) Hub for a second year.
The ITT Hub is the UK’s flagship event for innovation and technology in commercial and road transport, including bus, coach, truck, van, last mile, and autonomous vehicle fleets.
This year, National Grid Electricity Transmission (NGET) teamed up with Western Power Distribution (WPD) to host the Energy Theatre Hub. With the transport sector set to revolutionise as the industry transitions to net zero, energy sits at the heart of the dialogue.
At the Energy Theatre Hub, we hosted three panel discussions each day on the latest areas affecting energy infrastructure. A range of topics were covered including hydrogen, EV solutions, future grid capacity and delivering net zero. These sessions were presented by an array of industry experts from Government and the energy sector, as well as transport planners, consumer advocates and sustainability champions.
Events like ITT Hub allow us, as thought leaders in the decarbonisation space, to connect with stakeholders across the industry involved in keeping Britain moving.
You can find out more about the event and the part National Grid is playing in delivering the critical infrastructure needed to decarbonize the sector in the above recap video.
