Important information about additional work taking place on Saturday 1 June and Saturday 8 June 2024

On Saturday 1 June and Saturday 8 June 2024, we will be carrying out some essential assembly works at our Garth site near Minffordd.

This work will take place between 8am- 5pm on both dates and is part of the ongoing construction of the new shaft that we need to build before we start construction on the new tunnel.

We will also be carrying out some additional concrete pours as part of this activity between 8am – 1pm on both dates.

In the event that we need to schedule work on future Saturdays, we will post information on the nature and duration of the works on this website which will be signposted from the home page.

Minimum impact on the local community is our priority and we are committed to taking measures to minimise any disturbance caused to our neighbours.

This includes monitoring and limiting noise levels from our work during these periods. We can confirm that there will be no lorries moving excavated material off site on these dates and no HGV deliveries outside of our working hours.

We appreciate the patience and cooperation of the local community as we undertake this work on the Eryri VIP project and we apologise in advance to our neighbours for any inconvenience or disturbance caused.

If you have any questions about this work or any matter relating to the project, please contact the Eryri VIP project team by emailing us at [email protected] or calling 0800 018 1898 between 9am – 5:30pm, Monday to Friday. If we are unable to answer your call, please leave a message and one of our team will get back to you.
