To ensure that the project remains on schedule, a small team will be continuing to work on the construction of the TBM’s launch shaft at our site in Garth, near Minffordd on some days over the Christmas and New Year period. 

This activity will be taking place on the following days: 

• Saturday 21 December
• Monday 23 December
• Friday 27 December - Saturday 28 December
• Monday 30 December – Tuesday 31 December
• Thursday 2 January – Friday 3 January 
• Saturday 4 January

All construction work on our site at Llandecwyn will be paused over the festive period, resuming on Monday 6 January. 

Hochtief UK’s accommodation facility in Blaen Cefn will also be fully closed during this two-week period, although 24hr security staff will remain on site. 

We appreciate the ongoing patience and cooperation of the local community as we carry out these works and will continue to minimise any disturbance caused to our neighbours.
