National Grid engineers have visited all properties in Rossendale now and are in the process of revisiting the properties they have been unable to gain access to.

 National Grid’s Director of Operations Jon Butterworth said: “If you’ve come home on Christmas day, Boxing day, or over the weekend and you’re not connected; please call 0800 111 999 and let us know.  We have engineers ready and waiting to reconnect you.

This is a mammoth task but local people have been fantastic. I want to apologise for the inconvenience but also to thank people for their patience while we have been fixing the problem.”

 Please remember to ask for identification when an engineer requests access to your property. If you have any doubt to the authenticity of the engineers, please call 0845 605 6677.
