Wormington to Sapperton Natural Gas Pipeline Consent Application Postponed

19/12/2007

National Grid has decided to postpone the consent application for the Wormington to Sapperton natural gas pipeline as it will not be needed in the immediate future. This is because revised figures show that gas demand for the West of England is not rising as fast as originally forecast.

However, the pipeline may be needed in the future and we will keep the situation under review.
