This part of the website contains any current SO Incentive consultation documents issued by National Grid and any responses that have been received from interested parties.

National Grid has led on the development of Initial Proposals for Gas System Operator (SO) Incentives commencing 1 April 2011, namely Operating Margins and the NTS Environmental Incentive. This page also contains related documents such as correspondence with Ofgem. Documents relating to previous consultations can be found in the Archive.

To support any consultations we have set up a separate Analyst Area, which we will use to provide relevant data, and a Quarterly Reports area, which provides information on the actions and performance measures that National Grid is incentivised against. A summary of current SO Incentive schemes and the historic levels of performance under these schemes is available in the Supporting Information area of the website.

Where appropriate, National Grid will set up workshops to engage with interested parties and to allow further opportunity for parties to input their views into the process. Information on any workshops can be found under the Industry Workshops area.
