National Grid hereby notifies users of the commissioning of the inlet pipeline for the Isle of Grain Power Station (E-On).

Commissioning work is scheduled to start on the 2.7km pipeline on 8th October 2008 and will be carried out over a 1-2 day period. There will be a requirement for a small quantity of additional gas to be delivered to the system to pressurise the pipeline upto ~5 barg and accordingly users may see a small increase in the daily opening linepack level.
