Commissioning of Pannal to Nether Kellet (trans-Pennine) Pipeline

National Grid hereby notifies users of its intention to commence filling the new 94 km Pannal to Nether Kellet (trans-Pennine) pipeline with gas. Work is scheduled to start on 3rd October and will be carried out over a 3-4 day period to avoid any effect on the wholesale markets. As a consequence of the requirement for ~ 6MCM of gas supplies to be delivered and retained within the expanded System, Users will see a steady increase to the daily opening linepack levels. Once completed, Users should expect to see NTS linepack levels maintained at this higher level.
