During gas day 09/07/09 NGG suffered from significant network issues which prevented all external, and the majority of NGG internal, user access to Gemini as well as preventing NGG staff from posting information on our website, and sending / receiving external e-mails. These issues have now been resolved and systems are now operational and all processes are continuing as normal for gas day 10/09/07, however some data issues have been identified and these are currently being investigated and further information will be made available regarding these when it is available.
During gas day 09/07/09 NGG implemented a number of contingency procedures due to the lack of User access to the Gemini system including the running of offline capacity auctions and instigating a process for users to fax end of day nomination and trade positions for post event entry into the Gemini system. Users can find details of these processes by reviewing previous ANS messages (which were also made available via the Prevailing View screen of our website).
We are now working with xoserve to ensure Gemini is brought up to date with data for 09/07/09 and we anticipate that this process will be complete by approximately 1600hrs on 10/07/09 after which an ANS message will be sent to users to notify them that the data is available for checking.
