The Communications Exercise planned to take place on 29th July 2009 has been cancelled.

We have taken on board comments made at the Gas Operations Forum, held on 10th June 2009, regarding the problems encountered with the transmission of interruption notices during Exercise Prelude and we have therefore decided to take a different route with less imposition on yourselves.

We will now be carrying out internal testing of SC2004 to enable us to address any communication problems.

We will use the National Emergency Exercise planned for later this year to test communications.
