The BSSG reviews the contractual arrangements for the procurement of Balancing Services as set out in the CUSC and considers potential developments to the provision of these Balancing Services with regard to procurement, charging principles and contracting. The BSSG recently concluded its role as the Working Group for Interconnector Frequency Response issues and has now moved on to discussing other items under its Terms of Reference. Please note that the BSSG meetings were reinstated in November 2007 for use as the CAP169 Working Group, which concluded in 2009. Documentation for the BSSG meetings before 2005 is available on request. This group is held in conjunction with the Commercial Balancing Services Group (CBSG).
