What is the CUSC Modifications Panel?
The CUSC Modifications Panel consists of seven elected industry members, a representative of "National Consumer Council" and Ofgem. National Grid provide the Panel Chairman and also have two Panel Members. All Panel Members are required to act impartially.
Meetings of the CUSC Modifications Panel are held at least once a month to determine the process to apply for new Modification Proposals and monitor progress of existing Modification Proposals.
The CUSC Modifications Panel, together with National Grid, are responsible for establishing a timetable to apply for the Modification process of each Modification Proposal. They are also responsible for determining whether to set up a Workgroup or Standing Group, and for setting the timetable and terms of reference for their consideration.
