What is the relationship between Charging Statements and the CUSC?

The CUSC sets out the rights and obligations for the signatories to receive and pay relevant charges, as well as the necessary security provisions. The Charging Statements detail the Transmission Charges themselves and also cover all the principles upon which and the methodologies by which National Grid levies it's Transmission Charges.
