An electrical engineer by profession, Bob has over 35 years experience in the electricity industry in a wide variety of business roles, mainly in supply and customer related activities, including Head of Settlements and Head of Trading Development in the supply business at Norweb for most of the 1990s. This has given Bob a wide understanding of the technical, legal and commercial frameworks within the industry, together with their interaction, and the potential impact of change processes on market participants. Bob’s experience has been put to good use in practical ways as an active member of many development groups charged with considering and delivering changes to market rules, including both the BSC and Transmission areas. As part of the run up to NETA, Bob was a member of the NETA Implementation Advisory Board.

Bob is an elected industry member of the CUSC Modifications Panel and an appointed member of the BSC ISG and SVG sub-committees.

At present Bob is a self-employed consultant and an associate of Cornwall Energy providing a wide range of services to many market participants and others.
