The Reserve Review seeks to examine how sufficient electrical reserves may be effectively procured and utilised to maintain security and quality of supply.  Against a vision of an electricity transmission system, which evolves to connect extensive renewable generation to achieve climate change objectives.

Our aim is to examine both the near term challenges in the period 2010-2015 while also initiating analysis to examine the potential scenarios that could emerge in the period 2015-2050.
