Canterbury Environmental Education Centre is located within Kent and runs in conjunction with Kent County Council.
The whole site is 12 hectares which includes gravel pits, wet land, woodland and grassland. The site has a variety of protected wildlife such as dormice, newts and bats.
The centre provides a variety of different programmes that are linked with the National Curriculum such as Geography Science and History. As well as family events, adult education courses, opportunities to volunteer, birthday parties, venue hire and INSET training courses.
The centre is open to the general public in School Holidays from April to October.
