This report represents an important milestone for us – it is our tenth global online report, and continues our long heritage of non-financial reporting that began nearly 20 years ago with our first paper-based environmental report .

US publication 'Profiles in Diversity' has named National Grid a recipient of one if its ‘2011 Diversity Leader Awards’ for demonstrating outstanding diversity communication practices throughout the year. Other recipients of the award included well-known US companies like American Airlines, Burger King Corporation, Ford Motor Company, Verizon and Walmart.
