Further to the news item published on the 12 June 2008, please be aware that over the course of the next two months, the Aldbrough Storage Site, as part of its final site commissioning process will carry out trial exports.

Please take note that the site will not be commercially live during this period. In view of this fact, National Grid will not be adding stock figures for Aldbrough into the Medium Range Storage (MRS) category.

Upon the commencement of commercial operations, the National Grid website will be updated to display the full suite of information applicable to a site of this type, in line with our obligations to publish operational information.

National Grid has no intelligence as to the volume of trial exports the operators of Aldbrough Storage are carrying out prior to the commencement of commercial storage operations, nor are we aware of firm dates when this commercial operation may commence.
